- Consent to Film and Upload
By applying to be a Step.co Coach, you consent to Step.co recording, producing, and uploading any class content you film in our studio or submit to the Step.co platform. - Ownership of Content
All content filmed in Step.co’s studio or uploaded to Step.co by a Coach shall be the exclusive property of Step.co. Step.co reserves all rights, including copyright, distribution, and promotional use of such content. Coaches may not republish, license, or sell Step.co content outside the platform without prior written consent. - Promotion & Marketing Consent
You grant Step.co full permission to use your name, image, likeness, voice, and class content for promotional purposes. This includes but is not limited to Step.co’s website, app, social media platforms, email campaigns, advertisements, and other marketing channels. - Class Approval & Compensation
Only classes reviewed and approved by Step.co will qualify for compensation under the Step.co coach payment structure. Step.co reserves the right to withhold payment, remove, or decline to publish any content that does not meet Step.co’s quality, safety, or brand standards. - Assumption of Risk
Coach acknowledges and understands that filming or uploading lessons for Step.co — whether fitness, dance, martial arts, yoga, or any other physical activity — involves inherent risks that may result in injury. Coach voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in filming sessions for Step.co, whether occurring before, during, or after production. - Fitness to Participate
Coach affirms that they are in good physical condition and have no known medical condition or impairment that would prevent safe participation in physical activity. Coach agrees that it is their sole responsibility to determine whether they are physically fit and capable of safely performing the movements required during their recorded lessons. - Medical Treatment
Coach authorizes Step.co to seek emergency medical treatment on their behalf in the case of an accident or injury, but acknowledges that Step.co is not responsible for any medical costs or expenses incurred. - Release of Liability
Coach hereby releases, waives, and discharges Step.co from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage sustained during or as a result of filming instructional content, regardless of whether such injury arises from the negligence of Step.co or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. - Indemnification
Coach agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Step.co from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or resulting from any injury, illness, or other harm incurred while performing activities related to Step.co, including during lesson recording. - Waiver of Claims
Coach acknowledges that Step.co may edit, adapt, and distribute their content for platform and marketing purposes. Coach waives any claims to additional compensation outside of Step.co’s published coach compensation structure. - Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
